I believe in the power of the written word. It is a source of knowledge, creativity, and mutual understanding. It creates a special bond between people, whether they are the best of friends or they live on opposite sides of the world. The written word should be shared and that is why I love to write every day. It is an opportunity to express my thoughts and it is also an opportunity for greater awareness by reading the words of others. Sunny Set Goal #272: To intern at Seventeen or Cosmopolitan magazines.

One can dream right? I realize that this is no easy feat but if I never try, it will certainly never happen. So I’m going to try and let the cards fall where they may. And as much as I would like to delve into the details, I think it’s time for me to finish up those cover letters—which is no easy feat. How do you impress someone in about five seconds without them ever meeting you? Words certainly do matter in this situation.

With that being said, I need to submit some articles for them to get a feel for my writing style. Does anyone have any suggestions for a favorite article that I’ve written? I want to put my best foot forward and I would really appreciate your help!
